Polymarket-bot (MrFadiAi): four strategies, one dashboard, where it stops
Last checked 2026-09-08
Polymarket-bot is a TypeScript bot with a browser dashboard that runs four strategies on Polymarket: same-market arbitrage, a hedged dip trade on 15-minute crypto markets, filtered copy trading of leaderboard wallets, and a fill-or-kill sniper for manual entries.
Version 3.1 (January 2026) added a four-layer loss-limit system and stricter trader filters. The README promises nothing about returns and walks a beginner from Node install to a live toggle.
What it does
You run npx tsx bot-with-dashboard.ts and a dashboard opens at localhost:3001 with a LIVE or DRY RUN indicator, balances, a PnL panel, per-strategy toggles, an emergency stop and a panic sell.
A Risk Status panel shows usage against each limit and a win/loss streak counter.
- Daily loss limit 5% (pauses 60 minutes), monthly 15% (pauses 30 days), drawdown 25% (pauses 7 days), total loss 40% (permanent halt)
- Base position size 2% of CAPITAL_USD, shrinking 20% per consecutive loss and growing 10% per consecutive win, capped at 5%
- Minimum $1.50 per DipArb position so every position can be exited
Strategy
Arbitrage buys both sides when YES plus NO prices sum below $1.00, with a 1% profit threshold to cover gas. DipArb watches 15-minute BTC and ETH markets for a price crash of more than 15% in 3 seconds, buys the dip and hedges with the opposite side.
Smart Money copies leaderboard traders that pass filters: 60% or better win rate, $500 or more total PnL, profit factor of 1.5x or higher, a 70% consistency score, and no single trade contributing more than 30% of PnL. Direct Trading adds FOK orders, a sniper, a 15% stop-loss, 25% take-profit and a 7-day maximum hold.
Setup and requirements
Node.js 18 or newer and Git. The .env needs POLYMARKET_PRIVATE_KEY, CAPITAL_USD (a risk budget, not your balance) and DRY_RUN. The dashboard must be built separately with npm run build inside dashboard/.
The README's wallet section asks for USDC.e and $1 to $5 of MATIC on Polygon for gas. The Chainstack Alphapoly README states Polymarket V2 moved to pUSD collateral on 2026-04-28, so check the current collateral before funding.
Activity and maintenance
706 stars and 158 forks as of 2026-09-08. Created 2026-01-11, last push 2026-06-22, 8 open issues. MIT licensed, TypeScript. The author is @Mr_CryptoYT on X and the README is also available in Arabic.
Version history runs v1.0 (October 2025) through v3.1 (January 2026).
Where it falls short
Single venue. The arbitrage leg depends on same-market mispricing that liquid markets rarely show. The last push was 2026-06-22, and the collateral instructions read as pre-V2.
Copy trading on Polymarket is only as good as the leaderboard data and your fill latency; the README's filters reduce bad follows but do not solve slippage on the copied entry.
Who should use it
A first-time bot operator who wants a dashboard and hard loss limits rather than a config file. Run DRY_RUN=true with CAPITAL_USD=50 for the first day or two as the README suggests.
Not for anyone trading Kalshi, or anyone who wants a backtester.
